Two concurrent solo exhibits open this Saturday, June 22 at 516 ARTS (516 Central Ave. SW) with an opening reception from 6pm to 8pm. In no particular order, the first is Paula Wilson’s Entangled wherein “prints, video, furniture, paintings, sculptures, and clothing merge to reveal a handmade life where interdependence and inter-connectivity take form.” Plus, there will be enormous figures on 516’s huge walls.

The second is Mira Burack’s
Sleeping Between the Sun and the Moon. Burack brings organic forms to 516 ARTS, meditating on “the liminal experience and psychological qualities of textiles, the bed and sleep.” Both exhibits take on elements of the artists’ New Mexico homes and are worthy of your full consciousness. The exhibits run until the end of August. For more information of this free, all-ages event, see 516arts.org.
