A Hole In The Wall

“George Bush” and “Dick Cheney” in A Hole in the Wall
Imagine a version of The Wizard of Oz where Dorothy and Toto were greeted by the Munchkin Minutemen instead of the Lollipop Guild—happy and singsongy it is not. Hilarious? Heck yeah. Robert Madrid’s play, A Hole in the Wall, puts Dorothy and her little dog, too, face-to-face with Bush, Cheney and the INS in a family-friendly comedy about immigration and the American dream. Working Classroom‘s ensemble company presents A Hole in the Wall at the N4 th Theater (4904 Fourth Street NW) this Friday, Feb. 22, and Saturday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m. and runs through March 1. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. For tickets and info, call 242-9267.

More Pajama Time

Funnyman duo Shenoah Allen and Mark Chavez, aka The Pajama Men, have added a few more nights to their improv and music show at The Stove (114 Morningside NE). This Friday, Feb. 22, and next, Feb. 29, the PJ Men will perform their brand of witty, ridiculous comedy paired with tunes from various guest musicians to be announced mere minutes before the show. Tickets are $15 for general admission or $12 for students, seniors and hippies (thats what the press release says). Shows start at 8:30 p.m. Call 232-0640 for reservations (you’re gonna need ’em) and plan to arrive by 8 p.m. if you want a seat.
