How would you describe the shopping experience at your store?

At Catherine’s Cache, we offer a more traditional approach to doing business while also offering contemporary and innovative fashions and accessories. We carry local and internationally renowned designers. The key is offering “the unique”. Our motto is “Express Your Individuality” and we challenge ourselves to find new and exciting fashions and accessories with an eclectic mix of looks and price points.

With prices ranging from $3.00 to $300.00 you will find that “something special” for yourself, or the perfect gift, and we offer complimentary gift wrapping. Gift certificates are also an option if you want them to have the personal shopping experience. We have exclusivity on many of our lines so you will not find them anywhere else in Albuquerque. With many one of kind items, layaway is also appealing to our customers.

Ultimately the goal is to make sure that those who take the time to come to the store know that they are appreciated. We offer complimentary refreshments as well as a comfortable seating area for our customers comfort and convenience.

What part of the business is the most rewarding?

One of my favorite parts of having a business in Old Town is meeting people from Albuquerque. My family and I relocated to this area in 2013 and have been welcomed by this community. It’s great to see them enjoying our store. I think the people of Albuquerque are really rediscovering Old Town and all that it has to offer.

It is also amazing meeting tourists from all over the world. It is always fascinating hearing about their travels and about their experiences in Albuquerque.

What types of fashions and accessories do you carry?

We have dozens of designers that we represent at the store. Some of the most notable are internationally acclaimed designers and amazing southwestern designers including:

Award winning purse designer, Mary Frances, who has been recognized as “Star of the Show” during Paris fashion week and received the prestigious best design award in Milan. Award winning fashion designer, Robert Graham. His goal? Making an eclectic lifestyle into a brand.

“Shark Tank” TV contestant, Dominique McClain Barteet . Her One Soles are now recognized worldwide for the interchangeable shoe designs.

Eco friendly handbags and accessories by Littlearth… “A little granola with a whole lot of spunk”.

We feature southwest designers who offer a twist on traditional looks, creating unique designs.

These are a few of our most sought after artists:

What accomplishments are you most proud of?

Offering the best customer service and supporting the local community are the things that I am the most proud of.

I think the following quote sums up how I want everyone to feel when they visit our store.

Harry Howard, CEO of How To Consultants, Inc. quoted his experience in his seminars nationally,

“The experience made us feel warm, appreciated and a member of the Catherine’s Cache family. I was so impressed with the impeccable customer service that I now highlight Catherine Cache in my national customer service seminars as Best-In-Class.”

In addition, Catherine’s Cache supports the local community and has donated more than $4500 since 2014.

Now a bit about the store owner.

She has achieved national recognition for her successful business practices and sales achievements, has produced a training video, and coordinated multiple fundraisers with fashion shows. She has also done motivational speaking and has been featured in many publications, TV and radio.
