Thursday 15

“Pricing the Priceless” (National Geographic 6 p.m.) So, if you could buy the Eiffel Tower or the Great Pyramid, how much are we talking? In round numbers.

“The Year With Katie Couric” (KOAT-7 8 p.m.) We forget what happened this year. Enlighten us, Katie.

“The Year The Earth Went Wild” (Discovery 7 p.m.) Was the Earth trying to kill us all in 2011? Discovery investigates.

“Selling Spelling Manor” (HGTV 7 p.m.) So, Candy Spelling sold off the monstrous mansion her insanely rich dead husband left her in his will. Well, at least she got a reality show special out of it.

Friday 16

“Christmas in Washington 2011” (TNT 6 p.m.) Cee Lo Green, Jennifer Hudson and Victoria Justice perform at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. Oddly enough, it’s a televised concert and Justin Bieber isn’t there. … I kid. Of course he’s there.

Saturday 17

“Meet the Sloths” (Animal Planet 6 p.m.) Sounds exciting.

“Method to the Madness of Jerry Lewis” (Encore 7 p.m.) Eddie Murphy, Chevy Chase, Alec Baldwin, Carl Reiner, Quentin Tarantino and others discuss the genius of Jerry Lewis. Notice that, with the passage of time, genius is no longer in quotation marks.

Earth’s Final Hours (Syfy 7 p.m.) Jeez, Syfy is in a dour mood this holiday.

“WWE Tribute to the Troops” (KOB-4 8 p.m.) “I’d like to dedicate this 911 choke-slam to the brave men and women of the 101 st Airborne!”

Christmas in Canaan (Hallmark 6 p.m.) Is there a way we can hold Hallmark to less than 50 Christmas movies per season?

Sunday 18

Christmas Magic (Hallmark 6 p.m.) Honestly, I’d settle for less than 100.

“Geek Love” (TLC 7 p.m.) I’m just gonna say it: Sci-fi nerd speed dating equals reality show gold. Seriously, how is this not on Syfy?

Monday 19

“Who’s Still Standing” (KOB-4 7 p.m.) It’s a game show. Answer a question wrong and you fall through a trap door. Honestly, that’s all TV has got left in it this time of year.

“A Chipmunk Christmas” (KOAT-7 7:30 p.m.) The Chipmunks perform holiday classics from Carnegie Hall. Which sounds impressive. But I hear they lip synch.

Tuesday 20

Deck the Halls (TNT 8 p.m.) At least TNT has the good sense to spice up its holiday movies with a little murder. Although this mystery flick does star Kathy Najimy and is based on a novel by Mary Higgins Clark, so it’s kind of a wash.

“Kathy Griffin: Tired Hooker” (Bravo 8 p.m.) Like Syfy Channel, I don’t think Kathy Griffin is fully in the holiday spirit.

Wednesday 21

“A Home For the Holidays With Martina McBride” (KRQE-13 7 p.m.) Martina McBride, Mary J. Blige and Gavin DeGraw want to know why you aren’t adopting a kid for the holidays. Well, at least Justin Bieber isn’t … never mind. He’s there too.
