Intense Open House

The New Mexico Filmmakers Intensive is a new program at the College of Santa Fe featuring hands-on educational immersion in three key creative areas of filmmaking: screenwriting, directing and producing. NMFI is accepting applications and asking potential 2008 students to come up for an open house Saturday, Dec. 15. Actors will be performing scene readings from scripts produced in the 2007 NMFI program, and you’ll get a chance to meet screenwriting faculty member Tom Musca. Musca is a 20-year Hollywood veteran whose credits include Tortilla Soup, Stand and Deliver and Little Nikita. A tour of the facilities will take place at the College of Santa Fe’s Greer Garson Communications Center, Stage B, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Enrollment in NMFI is limited, and New Mexico residents are eligible for tuition assistance. To attend this open house, you must RSVP to info@filmmakersintensive.com or (505) 473-6400. Log on to www.filmmakersintensive.com for more details about NMFI and its programs.
