More Loco Than Loco–Normally speaking, Gorilla Tango's “Cinema Loco” event happens on the third weekend of every month. But, since they're, you know,
loco, they're actually scheduling it on the second weekend of this month. On Friday, April 14, Gorilla Tango (519 Central NW) will present the latest installment of their movie spoof show “Cinema Loco.” Each month, the improv actors of Gorilla Tango get their mitts on a cheesy public domain movie and redub it, providing all new dialogue, songs, sound effects and story. Past Cinema Loco film titles–provided by audience suggestion–have included “Frenchie Feels Good” (
The Beatniks), “Vampire Vespa” (
Lady Gangster) and “Fields of Rice” (
Reefer Madness). You never know what this month's film will be, so show up Friday night at 10 p.m. with $8 in your hand and be prepared to laugh.
