Send in your 12-page script; if yours is among the lucky few chosen, you’ll be given a cast, high-definition camera, lighting equipment, crew, post-production facilities and a professional mentor to help you through the process of shooting your short film. The Shootout itself will take place July 21-29 in and around Albuquerque. Filmmakers from all over will have just one week in which to shoot, edit and premiere their works.
