This year, the showcase is titled “LOL Friends of Film Funny Film Fest,” which gives you a pretty good idea of what it’s looking for. FoFVA encourages filmmakers of all ages to submit humorous films in one of three categories: 1 to 3 minutes, 4 to 7 minutes or 7 to 15 minutes. If you’re lucky, your film will be chosen for screening in the LOLFoFFFF—scheduled to be held Friday, March 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. at UNM’s Continuing Education building. Deadline for submitting films is this coming Wednesday, Feb. 3. Films can be mailed or hand-delivered to: “Taking Care of Business, 428 Louisiana SE #A3, Albuquerque, N.M. 87108.” There is a $5 entry fee per film.
