Ski bums and cinema lovers are invited to attend the screening of Warren Miller’s Timeless, hitting the KiMo Theatre (423 Central Ave. NW) on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 2pm. Miller, a noted winter sports enthusiast and extreme filmmaker, stopped directing films back in 2004 and passed away in 2018. Nonetheless, outdoor documentaries bearing his official trademark still come out every year like clockwork. This year’s 70th annual film—presented by Volkswagen—features ski legends such as Glen Plake alongside newcomers including Caite Zeliff, Jaelin Kauf and Baker Boyd. This cinematic roadtrip to deep powder takes viewers from Jackson Hole, Wyo. to the Matterhorn in Switzerland. Door prizes include Millennium Passes, Peak Plus Cards and High Performance equipment rentals. Tickets are $15 in advance and $17 for walk-up. To get those advance ticket prices (and to guarantee a seat at an event that usually sells out), go to kimotickets.com.
