Santa Fe-based writer and film historian Jeff Berg will be at Albuquerque Special Collections Library on Saturday, May 17, to present another of his patented “Made in New Mexico” film screenings. From 10:30am to noon, Berg will screen part four of his ongoing collection of clips from movies that have been at least partially shot here in New Mexico—from a 1912 silent starring Mary Pickford right up until present-day blockbusters. Berg will be on hand, of course, to provide historical context for the film clips. Audience participation is strongly encouraged. The Special Collections Library is located at 423 Central NE. Admission to this event is free.
