Thursday 15

“The Office” (KOB-4 7 p.m.) When is a rerun not a rerun? When it’s a “newpeat.” NBC is airing two old episodes of “The Office” tonight, but is adding previously unseen footage. So, even if you’ve seen them before, you still haven’t seen them. Boy, those programming execs are devious bastards.

“Andy Barker P.I.” (KOB-4 8:30 p.m.)
Any show that gets Andy Richter back on TV is worth celebrating.

“October Road” (KOAT-7 9 p.m.) A young first-time author returns to his old hometown, only to find that all his former friends (who appeared as characters in the semi-autobiographical tell-all book) are pissed at him. Although it steals most of its inspiration from Grace Metalious’ Peyton Place (not to mention Kevin Williamson’s short-lived 2002 series “Glory Days”), I’m intrigued by the inclusion of Laura Prepon (from “That ’70s Show”) as the would-be love interest.

Friday 16

“Epic Conditions” (The Weather Channel 7 p.m.) TWC, still trying to prove that weather is entertaining, shows off its new series with a look at the relationship between extreme weather and extreme sports. Tonight: Big wave surfing in Maui.

Saturday 17

I Wanna Be A Cowboy (AMC 4:45 a.m.) AMC presents a two-day marathon of Western action. Highlights include Comanche Territory with Macdonald Carey, Rio Grande with John Wayne and Jeremiah Johnson with Robert Redford.

Hellboy: Blood and Iron (Cartoon Network 8 p.m.) The popular comic book returns as an animated film, complete with a voicecast straight out of the 2004 live action film (Ron Perlman, Selma Blair, John Hurt). In this stylish feature-length toon, Hellboy and his fellow agents encounter ghosts, monsters and a resurrected female vampire.

Sunday 18

“Cruising Dos and Don’ts” (Travel Channel 9 p.m.) Turns out this is a tip-filled show about preparing for a sea cruise. I was thinking about something else entirely.

Monday 19

“’Til Death Do Us Part” (Court TV 8 p.m.) Court TV’s first scripted series follows married couples from the time they are (happily) married until the time that they are (violently) separated. Filmmaker John Waters hosts, Alfred Hitchcock-style, ensuring a high camp value to the proceedings.

“Ninja Warrior” (G4 11:30 p.m.) The extreme endurance game show “Ninja Warrior” (“Satsuke” in its native land) returns for its 10 th grueling season. Will anyone pass the test?

Tuesday 20

“UFC Unleashed” (Spike 7 p.m.) Tonight it’s Tim Sylvia vs. Wesley “Cabbage” Correira. … I know the guy could kick my ass from now until Sunday without breaking a sweat, but I’m still amused that his nickname is “Cabbage.”

Wednesday 21

Watching the Detectives (TCM 6 p.m.) Before there was James Bond, there was flippant British super sleuth Simon Templar, a.k.a. The Saint. 1938’s The Saint in New York , 1939’s The Saint Strikes Back , 1939’s The Saint in London and 1940’s The Saint Takes Over are featured in tonight’s Watching the Detectives marathon.
