Thursday 13

“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” (FX 11 p.m.) FX’s insanely “Seinfeld”ian sitcom returns for another season.

Friday 14

“Nashville” (KASA-2 8 p.m.) From the makers of “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills” comes another pseudo reality show about young blondes with hot bods. This one takes place in Nashville (of course), where all the subjects are aspiring country music stars. Yee-haw.

“Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders: Making the Team” (CMT 9 p.m.) Country Music Television’s jiggle-reality show gives viewers a second season of star-spangled halter tops and yelling. … Ah, the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders—they’re like redneck Viagra.

Saturday 15

Highlander: The Source (Sci-Fi 7 p.m.) This fifth film in the Highlander series couldn’t quite muster up the caché to make it into theaters. Fans of the TV series with Adrian Paul (who stars here as Duncan MacLeod) will be excited, though. … At least until the movie starts.

Sunday 16

“The 58 th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) Ryan Seacrest, who seems contractually bound to host goddamn everything in Hollywood these days, presides over this year’s Emmy Awards telecast. Me, I’m consoling myself with the fact that “The Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner” could walk away with an Emmy tonight.

“The Dead Zone” (USA 8 p.m.) Tonight is the sixth season finale of USA’s supernatural hit, meaning Anthony Michael Hall has been gainfully employed for six straight years. … Yeah, I was shocked too.

Monday 17

“Prison Break” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) Damn, back in prison again? This series is gonna get real old real fast if the characters have to break out of a different prison every season.

“K-Ville” (KASA-2 8 p.m.) FOX’s newest cops show has some serious potential, exploring life in post-Katrina New Orleans as seen through the eyes of two cops (Cole Hauser, Anthony Anderson) patrolling the troubled streets.

Tuesday 18

“Elvis: Viva Las Vegas” (KOAT-7 8 p.m.) This documentary/concert special includes a history of the singer’s influence on Sin City, a host of tribute performances and newly discovered clips of Big E himself. Awesome, but the 30 th anniversary of Elvis’ death was last month, ABC.

Wednesday 19

“Back to You” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) Kelsey Grammer returns to TV, teaming up with Patricia Heaton (“Everybody Loves Raymond”) as a couple of contentious TV news anchors.

“Kid Nation” (KRQE-13 7 p.m.) Kids form their own adults-free society in the New Mexico desert in this controversial reality show.

“Gossip Girl” (KWBQ-19 8 p.m.) The hit teen lit series gets turned into a high school-set soaper.

“Come Rain or Come Shine: From Grey’s Anatomy to Private Practice” (KOAT-7 8 p.m.) Hopefully this one-hour special will help ease the transition from original show to spin-off. We all remember the trauma that occurred between “M*A*S*H*” and “After M*A*S*H*.” Nobody wants that again.
