Thursday 20

“Clash of the Choirs” (KOB-4 7 p.m.) So, which hometown choir will be America’s Next Great Church Choir? Find out on tonight’s nail-biting series finale.

Friday 21

“9 th Annual A Home for the Holidays” (KRQE-13 7 p.m.) Inspirational stories of adoption are interspersed with performances by Sheryl Crow, James Blunt, Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Carole King and country superstar Reba McEntire. Comedian George Lopez will be on stage too, as will actor David Krumholtz (“Numb3rs”) and many more. In fact, there are so many selfless celebrities here, producers might not even have time for all those teary-eyed orphans. … Sorry, kid, Krumholtz ran long. You’ve been bumped.

“Man vs. Wild” (Discovery 7 p.m.) If, for some inexplicable reason, survivalist Bear Grylls rubs you the wrong way, you might actually enjoy tonight’s clip show special “Bear Eats.” In it, Bear is forced to consume all kinds of rancid stuff he finds in the great outdoors–like water squeezed from fresh camel poop. Mmm, mmm, good.

“Art Attack with Lee Sandstead” (Travel 10 p.m.) Famed art historian Lee Sandstead hosts this new travel series in which he hits some of the world’s most famous museums and boils each one’s collection down to a time-saving “Top Five” list.

Saturday 22

Family Holiday (Lifetime 7 p.m.) Ever wonder what the hell happened to the third dad on “Full House”? Well, here he is–Mr. Dave Coulier–being employed in a made-for-TV holiday movie. It’s a Christmas miracle!

“The True Story of Charlie Wilson” (History 7 p.m.) Planning on seeing Charlie Wilson’s War this weekend at the movie theater? Start by finding out what’s fact and what’s fiction. For starters, he wasn’t married to Julia Roberts.

Sunday 23

“Elmo’s Christmas Countdown” (KOAT-7 6 p.m.) Sheryl Crow, Jamie Foxx, Charles Gibson, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Hudson, Kevin James, Alicia Keys, Brad Paisley, Ty Pennington, Ben Stiller and, oddly enough, Steve Schirripa and Tony Sirico from “The Sopranos” show up to help Elmo find Santa’s magical Christmas Count-Downer.

In God’s Name (KRQE-13 8 p.m.) A dozen religious leaders from around the world discuss faith, God and the increase in international terrorism in this intriguing documentary by French filmmakers Jules and Gedeon Naudet.

Monday 24

It’s a Wonderful Life (KOB-4 7 p.m.) Who are you to argue with tradition?

“Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas” (KOAT-7 7 p.m.) Ah, dueling traditions, is it?

“Solemn Mass of Christmas” (ETNW-24 8:30 p.m.) For those of you who like your Christmas Eve solemn.

Tuesday 25

See Idiot Box above.

Wednesday 26

“30 th Annual Kennedy Center Honors” (KRQE-13 8 p.m.) Leon Fleischer, Diana Ross, Martin Scorsese, Brian Wilson and Steve Martin. Now there’s a weird cocktail party.

“Funniest Commercials of the Year 2007” (TBS 7 p.m.) Ooh, I hope we get more Geico cavemen.

The Last Futurama Marathon (Cartoon Network 12 a.m.) Adult Swim says adieu to “Futurama” by broadcasting every single episode in order.
