Friday 12 “Greatest Holiday Moments: Songs of the Season Countdown” (KOB-4 7 p.m.) Who needs caroling when you’ve got a convenient TV countdown in the comfort of your own living room? “10 th Annual Family Entertainment Awards” (KWBQ-19 8 p.m.) Tyler James Williams hosts! … I’ll save you the Google search. He stars in The CW’s “Everybody Loves Chris.” “The Flight Before Christmas” (KRQE-13 8 p.m.) Emma Roberts and Norm MacDonald voice this new CGI toon about a flying squirrel who teaches Santa’s reindeer how to fly. … Which is, of course, total bullshit. Everybody knows Santa’s reindeer fly because of magic corn. “Batman: The Brave and the Bold” (Cartoon Network 9 p.m.) This fun new superhero team-up toon gets into the spirit of the season with tonight’s episode, “Invasion of the Secret Santas!” Joining Bats on this holiday caper: Red Tornado. “The 12 Days of Redneck Christmas” (CMT 10 p.m.) Best not to speculate, really. Saturday 13 “A Miser Brothers Christmas” (ABC Family 6 p.m.) It’s a Christmas Miracle! Heat Miser and Snow Miser from 1974’s stop-motion classic “A Year Without a Santa Claus” return in their very own Christmas special. Mickey Rooney voices St. Nick, while George S. Irving reprises his role as Heat Miser. “COPS: Ho! Ho! Ho!” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) It’s probably safe to assume tonight’s special ep has nothing to do with Santa Claus. “Radio City Christmas Spectacular” (WE 9 p.m.) Radio City Music Hall is one of the few places that gets to justifiably use the word “spectacular.” Everybody else: Step off. Sunday 14 “Spike TV’s Video Game Awards 2008” (Spike 7 p.m.) “Best Independent Game Fueled by Mountain Dew”? World of Goo, all the way. The others are more Dr. Pepper/Sprite-type games. Sharks in Venice (Sci-Fi Channel 7 p.m.) Infinitely scarier than Sharks in Tucson. “Survivor” (KRQE-13 7 p.m.) “Survivor” wraps up its 17 th season … which evidently took place the nation of Gabon. Monday 15 “20/20” (KOB-4 8 p.m.) With a crippling economic crisis, two wars and a new president about to take office, “20/20” gets right to the hard news with tonight’s two-hour special, “Drama High: The Making of a High School Musical.” Tuesday 16 “Momma’s Boys” (KOB-4 9 p.m.) Yet another reality dating show, this one with the guys’ mothers tagging along to dispense maternal criticism. I give it eight minutes before someone tosses out the word “skank,” “tramp” or “whore.” Wednesday 17 “Christmas in Washington” (TNT 9 p.m.) Ring in the holidays in our nation’s capitol. Dr. Phil hosts. Christian pop band Casting Crowns, “Dancing With the Stars” hoofer Julianne Hough (who apparently just recorded an album) and Indiana University’s comedic a cappella group Straight No Chaser are the musical guests. … Obviously, change can’t come fast enough to Washington.
