Friday 13 “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) This spin-off show is somehow more interesting without the prospect of a big-budget Terminator sequel looming on the horizon. But if you’re still into it, here’s the second season winter premiere. “Dollhouse” (KASA-2 8 p.m.) Surf the Internet and you’ll find there are a whole lot of people hoping this new sci-fi show by Joss Whedon (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Firefly”) does well. Given that it’s been stuck in the Friday 8 p.m. slot, you can bet FOX executives aren’t among them. Saturday 14 “Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown” (KOAT-7 7 p.m.) I can think of a few things sadder than sitting home alone on Valentine’s Day watching “Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown.” … No, wait. I can’t. Splinter (Sci-Fi Channel 7 p.m.) This gory horror flick about a bunch of stranded travelers bedeviled by tiny parasitic bugs is better than most Sci-Fi Channel films, mostly because it wasn’t made for Sci-Fi Channel. Sunday 15 “ East Bound and Down” (HBO 8:30 p.m.) Danny R. McBride ( The Foot Fist Way, Pineapple Express, Tropic Thunder ) stars in this new sitcom about a burned-out major league baseball player who returns to his hometown to teach phys ed. Buddy Will Ferrell executive produces. So … probably funny. Monday 16 “ Stealing Lincoln’s Body” (History 7 p.m.) It’s President’s Day, you know. Instead of another boring documentary about how Lincoln freed the slaves, History Channel offers up this wacky nugget about a bunch of Chicago drunks who, in 1876, plotted to steal the dead president’s body and hold it for ransom. … Now that’s good history! Ring of Death (Spike 7 p.m.) A cop (Johnny Messner, “Killer Instinct”) goes undercover in prison to expose an underground fight club streaming live on the Internet. It’s like two crappy action movies in one. Tuesday 17 “Food Detectives” (Food 7 p.m.) Not that tonight’s topic–digging into how diet affects skin and hydration–isn’t educational. It just seems these so-called “food detectives” could be put to better use tracking down the source of that killer peanut butter or something. Wednesday 18 “Lie to Me” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) Now that all the crappy “American Idol” auditions are out of the way, this semi-compelling cop show can settle into a more useful time slot. “Little Miss Perfect” (WE 11 p.m.) What with “Toddlers and Tiaras” on TLC and “Little Miss Perfect” on WE, it’s a good time to be a pedophile with cable.
