“N.Y.P.D. 24/7” (KOAT-7 9 p.m.) It's just like “N.Y.P.D. Blue” except it's real. And the cops don't take their clothes off nearly as much.

“Nip/Tuck” (FX 11 p.m.) Cable's most plastic surgery-obsessed drama kicks off its second season with plenty of of blood and sleazy behavior.

Wednesday 23

“T.H.E.M.” (KOB-4 7 p.m.) In case you didn't know, that stands for “Totally Hidden Extreme Magic.” In this seriously poor excuse for a show, a gang of talented street magicians jump out and surprise unsuspecting people with cheap illusions. And it's all caught on video! Next up, “Mime Time Live” in which a gang of talented street mimes … Ah, you can guess the rest.
