Think “House,” only more realistic.Friday 1“The 44th Annual NAACP Image Awards” (KOB-4 7 p.m.) NBC starts off Black History Month with the NAACP Awards, a salute to “the best achievements and performances of people of color in the arts.” That ought to be enough to get the network out of doing anything meaningful for African-Americans the other 11 months of the year.“Best Super Bowl Concert Ever” (VH1 7 p.m.) They lost me at “featuring the radio-friendly rock of Train.”Saturday 2“Power Rangers: Megaforce” (Nickelodeon 11 p.m.) Wanna feel old? This is the 20th season premiere of “Power Rangers.”Betty & Coretta (Lifetime 6 p.m.) Angela Bassett and Mary J. Blige in a biopic about the widows of Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X? Looks like Lifetime has got Black History Month covered as well. Examining David E. Kelley’s indistinguishable new ensemble medical drama about doctors who do, um, medical stuff, is starting to make NBC’s “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in a hospital” show look vaguely clever.Tuesday 5“Betty White’s Second Annual 90th Birthday Special (KOB-4 7 p.m.) Yeah, the title is probably the best joke in the whole thing.“Strip the City” (Science 7 p.m.) Nifty computer graphics are used to peel away the layers of urban environments to show viewers what’s going on, engineering-wise, beneath the skin of skyscrapers or under the surface of city streets.“Emily Owens, M.D.” (KWBQ-19 8 p.m.) Speaking of boring old medical dramas—which we seem to be doing this week—The CW pulls the plug on this series about a doctor who … is female, I guess.Wednesday 6The Karate Kid (G4 7 p.m.) I sure am glad G4 canceled “X-Play” and “Attack of the Show” and dropped its whole “video game TV” identity in order to show Karate Kid 24/7.
