Thursday 3

The Wiz Live! (KOB-4 7pm) Queen Latifah, Ne-Yo and Uzo Aduba (from “Orange Is the New Black”) are among the cast of NBC’s newest “live” musical. Let’s hope this is better than last year’s mostly awful Peter Pan Live!

“CMA Country Christmas” (KOAT-7 8pm) Of course, if you prefer your music less … soulful? … colorful? … urban? … this collection of holiday tunes might be more up your alley. Just speculating.

Friday 4

A Very Murray Christmas (Netflix streaming anytime) Bill Murray welcomes the likes of George Clooney, Rashida Jones, Amy Poehler and Miley Cyrus to his snarky holiday special, directed by Sophia Coppola.

Saturday 5

The Flight Before Christmas (Lifetime 6pm) Two strangers (”Blossom” herself, Mayim Bialik and Ryan McPartlin from “Chuck”) share a room at a bed-and-breakfast when an unexpected snowstorm delays their flight. Surely they won’t fall in love or anything stupid like that.

Just in Time For Christmas (Hallmark 6pm) A psychology professor gets one of those “It’s a Wonderful Life” glimpses of her future courtesy of a “magical messenger” named Nick (William Shatner).

It’s a Wonderful Life (KOB-4 7pm) Speaking of TV’s favorite, seasonal empty-timeslot filler. Here it is, nice and early.

“Doctor Who” (BBC America 7pm) For the finale of a surprisingly good season, the good Doctor finally returns to his home planet of Gallifrey.

Sunday 6

“Sinatra 100—An All-Star Grammy Concert” (KRQE-13 8pm) Tony Bennett, Garth Brooks, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Adam Levine, Harry Connick Jr., Celine Dion and Lady Gaga are among the celebs who show up to sing Frank Sinatra’s praises (literally).

Last Chance for Christmas (Lifetime 7pm) Santa’s stableman looks for a last-minute replacement for an injured Prancer. Also, since this is a Lifetime movie, he falls in love. Hopefully not with the reindeer.

Monday 7

“TV’s Funniest Animated Stars: A Paley Center for Media Special” (KASA-2 7pm) From Mickey Mouse to Scooby-Doo to Homer Simpson to SpongeBob SquarePants to Stewie Griffin, the Paley Center salutes TV’s cartoon superstars.

“Telenovela” (KOB-4 9pm) Eva Longoria headlines this midseason sitcom about the stars of a Mexican soap opera.

“Neon Joe, Werewolf Hunter” (Cartoon Network 1am) Writer Jon Glaser (who played Councilman Jamm on “Parks and Recreation”) created and stars in this mock-serious, live-action series about a brightly dressed werewolf hunter.

Tuesday 8

“The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” (KRQE-13 9pm) Ellie Goulding, Selena Gomez and The Weeknd will be there to get in the way of the girls in lingerie.

Wednesday 9

“Taraji and Terrence’s White Hot Holidays” (KASA-2 8pm) It’s all about cheap and easy holiday concerts this time of year, so it’s only natural FOX would allow the stars of “Empire” to host a show featuring the likes of Mary J. Blige, John Legend and Jamie Foxx.

“The Illusionists” (KOB-4 9pm) A bunch of random illusionists perform “astonishing acts of sophisticated magic.”
