Gerald’s Game (Netflix streaming anytime) Stephen King is having a bit of a resurgence this year. Here, Carla Gugino (Sin City) stars in King’s dark thriller about a woman stuck handcuffed to a bed frame in a remote cabin after her husband croaks during a night of kinky sex.

“Tin Star” (Amazon streaming anytime) Tim Roth (Reservoir Dogs) stars in this episodic crime drama set in an isolated mountain town overrun with migrant oil workers.

“Marvel’s Inhumans” (KOAT-7 7pm) If you didn’t pay for it in movie theaters, you can now see it for for free. And with 15 extra minutes! Watch as super-powered Black Bolt (Anson Mount, “Hell on Wheels”) and the rest of the Inhuman royal family head to Earth after their secret city on the moon is overthrown in a military coup.

“Halloween Wars” (Food Network 6pm) Pumpkin-carving experts, cake bakers and sugar artists join forces to create creative holiday-themed edible displays in FN’s seasonal competition.

“Wisdom of the Crowd” (KRQE-13 7pm) Television writers have no idea how crimes get solved. (Spoiler alert: most of them don’t.) Hence, they concoct magical solutions involving psychics, ghosts, supercomputers and mentally ill geniuses. Here, for example, we have Jeremy Piven (“Entouage”) as a high-tech millionaire who invents a phone app that allows people to “crowdsource” crime fighting.

“Ghosted” (KRQED2 7:30pm) A former detective (Craig Robinson from “The Office”) and a conspiracy nut (Adam Scott from “Parks and Recreation”) are recruited by a secret government organization to look into unexplained activity. … Think “The X-Files,” but funny.

“Ten Days in the Valley” (KOAT-7 9pm) Kyra Sedgewick (“The Closer”) stars as the overworked producer of a law enforcement news show who finds her personal and private life overlapping when her daughter goes missing.

Monday 2

“9JKL” (KRQE-13 7:31pm) A newly divorced dude (Mark Feuerstein, “Royal Pains”) moves into an apartment between his overachieving brother and his meddlesome parents.

“The Gifted” (KRQED2 8pm) A bunch of third tier mutants from Marvel’s X-Men universe (Eclipse, Polaris, Thunderbird, Blink, Shatter, Dreamer) do the “special teenagers on the run from the government” thing.

Tuesday 3

“Machinima’s Chasing the Cup: Injustice 2” (KWBQ-19 8pm) Some of the country’s top “eSports” players compete for a $250,000 prize by playing the DC Comics-based fighting game Injustice 2. Hey, at least when my parents told me to go outside and get some fresh air, I was actually playing video games myself and not watching other people do it on TV.

“The Mayor” (KOAT-7 8:30pm) An idealistic, wannabe rapper (Brandon Michael Hall, “Search Party”) runs for mayor of a small California town as part of a publicity stunt and accidentally wins.

“Kevin (Probably) Saves the World” (KOAT-7 9pm) A directionless young man (Jason Ritter) is told by a celestial being that it’s now his job to save the world.
