It’s not long, of course, before she finds herself neck-deep in a new series of murders.“Altered Carbon” (Netflix streaming anytime) Based on the the 2002 hard-boiled cyberpunk novel by Richard K. Morgan, this dark sci-fi series stars Joel Kinnaman (from “The Killing” and that Robocop remake we don’t speak of). He plays a prisoner brought back to life in a new body who must earn his freedom by solving a mind-bending murder in a hyper-violent future world where “death” simply leads to uploading your digitized memories into a newly cloned body (assuming you’re rich enough to afford one, anyway). “#Metoo, Now What?” (KNME-5 8:30pm) PBS launches a new series discussing issues related to sexual harassment.“2 Dope Queens” (HBO 9:30pm) Based on the podcast by standup comedians Phoebe Robinson and Jessica Williams, this loose chat show finds the ladies discussing sex, romance, race, New York City and Billy Joel with assorted special guests. On tonight’s premiere: Jon Stewart.Saturday 3My Secret Valentine (Hallmark 7pm) Hallmark should be commended for waiting all the way until February to start making Valentine’s Day-based rom-coms.
