Saturday 10Stalked by a Reality Star (Lifetime 6pm) Just last week I warned you that Lifetime was running out of ordinary careers that can be assigned to evil stalkers, which can then be used to scare paranoid, TV-addicted suburban mothers. And just this week, they release this gem. Guess I underestimated the network.Sunday 11“American Ninja Warrior USA vs. the World” (KOB-4 6pm) Teams from North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia go head-to-head in the punishing finals course.“The 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards” (TBS/TNT/truTV 6pm) DJ Khaled and Hailey Rhode Baldwin (Stephen Baldwin’s daughter, who’s a model) host. I particularly like the question mark at the end of the title as a way to fend off criticism of this weightless repackaging of an old interview.“Deception” (KOAT-7 9:01pm) Jack Cutmore-Scott (“Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life”) joins TV’s coterie of magical crime solvers—geniuses, psychics, billionaires, immortals, computers, Lucifer. Here we have a Las Vegas “illusionist” who spends every week solving crimes for the FBI instead of encouraging people to go to the lobby bar during intermission.Monday 12Jane (National Geographic 6pm) Somehow this beautifully directed 2017 film about the life and work of primatologist Jane Goodall did not get nominated for a Best Documentary award at the Oscars. That shouldn’t stop you from checking it out.Tuesday 13“For the People” (KOAT-7 9pm) Super-producer Shonda Rhimes comes up with a drama about sexy, young … waiting for the coin flip … lawyers! Dang. I was really hoping for sexy, young doctors.“Rise” (KOB-4 9:01pm) Inspired by a true story (not to mention all six seasons of “Glee”), this musical drama finds a passionate high school teacher trying to revive his school’s drama department by recruiting everyone from Broadway nerds to football players to indulge in their love for musical theater.Wednesday 14“Krypton: The Making of a Legend” (Syfy 9pm) Hey, if Fox can make a Batman series without Batman, then Syfy can make a Superman series without Superman.
