Thursday 21

“Game of Clones” (MTV 7:01pm) MTV “stars” (like Pauly D from “Jersey Shore” and Kailyn Lowry from “Teen Mom 2”) are set up on dates with seven “identical” look-alikes of their celebrity crushes—an idea that sounds narcissistic and incestuous enough for MTV, all right.

“Flack” (POP 11pm) Anna Paquin stars in this UK export as an American PR executive living in London and cleaning up the messes of various high-profile clients.

Friday 22

“This Giant Beast That is the Global Economy” (Amazon streaming anytime) Kal Penn (Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle) tries to figure out the inner workings of the world’s economy in this documentary series from writer-director Adam McKay (Vice, The Big Short) and his pal, producer Will Ferrell.

“Workin’ Moms” (Netflix streaming anytime) Famed comedy director Ivan Reitman’s daughter Catherine (from “Black-ish”) writes, directs and stars in this Canadian sitcom about four moms going back to work after giving birth.

Saturday 23

“The 2019 Film Independent Spirit Awards” (IFC 3pm) Aubrey Plaza (“Parks and Recreation,” “Legion”) hosts Hollywood’s annual “night before” tribute to independent films. Up for Best Feature: Eighth Grade, First Reformed, If Beale Street Could Talk, Leave No Trace and You Were Never Really Here.

Who’s Stalking Me? (Lifetime 6pm) I mean, it’s Lifetime Network; it could be anyone in your suburban neighborhood, really: teacher, dentist, doctor, florist, plumber, PTA president. Also, possibly a cheerleader. Or somebody you met on the internet.

Sunday 24

“Lost Beasts of the Ice Age” (Science 6pm) The latest techniques in genetic science reveal extraordinary new discoveries about woolly mammoths, woolly rhinos, wolves, cave lions—basically anything hairy and extinct.

Monday 25

“Biography: The Trump Dynasty” (A&E 7pm) Donald Trump’s family is the subject of this probing documentary examining how and why they became so stupidly rich.

“The Enemy Within” (KOB-4 9pm) Morris Chestnut (“Rosewood”) stars as an FBI agent who must turn to a brilliant former CIA operative-turned-traitor (Jennifer Carpenter from “Dexter”) serving life in a Supermax prison in order to hunt down a notorious terrorist. Why don’t more cops team up with notorious criminals in real life? It always works out so well in movies and TV.

Tuesday 26

“Mexican Dynasties” (Bravo 11pm) Wow. Donald Trump is gonna be ticked when he finds out that Mexicans can have dynasties too.

Wednesday 27

“Gone” (WGN 7pm) “Law & Order” vet Chris Noth stars in this 12-episode limited series about the survivor of a highly publicized child abduction case (Leven Rambin from “All My Children”) who teams up with a veteran cop to form a special task force specializing in abductions and missing persons cases.

“Whiskey Cavalier” (KOAT-7 9pm) In this comic action series, a “tough but tender” FBI super agent (codenamed “Whiskey Tango”) teams up with a sexy CIA operative to solve crimes and stuff. Scott Foley (“Scandal”) and Lauren Cohan (“The Walking Dead”) star.

“Alien News Desk” (Syfy 9pm) A bunch of “SNL” alumni (including Will Forte) are behind this animated comedy in which space aliens reprot on “the universe’s most fascinating and baffling species,” the humans of planet Earth.
