It’s about an innocent toddler whose “boundless curiosity” gets him into all sorts of adventure and mischief. Also, he’s super strong.“Special” (Netflix streaming anytime) A young gay man with cerebral palsy breaks out from his insular rut in hopes of finally getting the life he wants in this coming-of-age series executive produced by Jim Parsons (“The Big Bang Theory”). Creator/star Ryan O’Connell is gay and does have cerebral palsy, so points for representation.Saturday 13“Charles Manson: The Funeral” (Reelz 6pm) This documentary tracks the journey of Jason Freeman, Charles Manson’s grandson, as he attempts to recover the remains of the infamous serial killer. … So he could bury them. … Not so he could make souvenir paperweights out of the ashes. … Not yet anyway.Sunday 14“Game of Thrones” (HBO 7pm) The obsessively beloved fantasy series from the pen of George R.R. Martin returns for its eighth and final season. We only get six episodes this time around.
