There, her (hunky, frequently shirtless) son (Trevor Stines from “Riverdale”) falls under the wing of the fam’s new neighbor (Olivia D’Abo from Conan the Destroyer), a businesswoman who hires the hunky teen to work some suspiciously late-night hours. You can put two and two together.“Apollo: The Forgotten Films” (Discovery 6pm) Today’s the day! Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed the Apollo 11 Lunar Module on the moon on July 20, 1969. Discovery digs though the NASA Research Center and The National Archives to find as much obscure, behind-the-scenes footage of the event as possible.“Live From ’69: Moon Landing” (BBC America 7pm) The lunacy continues, recounting the “extraordinary ambition, bravery, anticipation and achievement” of the Moon landing by sourcing period news footage from around the world.Sunday 21“Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted” (National Geographic 8pm) Tired of yelling at semiprofessional chefs in kitchens, Gordon Ramsay assumes Anthony Bourdain’s gig of traveling and eating. First stop: Peru.Monday 22“The Great Mother” (Starz 7:01pm) This timely documentary series follows Nora Sandigo, legal guardian to more than 2,000 US-citizen children of undocumented immigrants, as she sacrifices everything to keep American-born children with their undocumented parents.Tuesday 23“Who Killed Garrett Phillips?” (HBO 6pm) HBO’s newest true-crime documentary looks at racial bias in our criminal justice system by exploring the 2011 murder of 12-year-old Garrett Phillips and the subsequent trial of Clarkeson University soccer coach Oral Hillary—a black man living in a predominantly white community.Wednesday 24“South Side” (Comedy Central 8:30pm) Two side-hustling best friends have just graduated from community college and are ready to take over the world. But until then, they’re stuck working at Rent-T-Own in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood. The cast, crew and creators of this inner city sitcom are all Chicago natives.
