Thursday 1

“NFL Hall of Fame Game: Broncos vs. Falcons” (KOB-4 6pm) Football’s preseason kicks off with this match-up between Denver and Atlanta. Play safe, everybody: It doesn’t count!

“Great White Kill Zone: Guadalupe” (Discovery 7pm) Shark Week continues with a look at murderous shark thugs off the coast of California.

“iZombie” (KWBQ-19 7pm) After five seasons, the CW’s crimesolving living dead series (based somewhat loosely on Chris Roberson and Mike Allred’s Vertigo comic) comes to an end.

Friday 2

“Basketball or Nothing” (Netflix streaming anytime) This documentary series follows the Chinle High basketball team in Arizona’s Navajo Nation as they embark on a quest to win the state championship.

Descendants 3 (Disney 6pm) Disney’s film trilogy about the teenage kids of famous Disney characters comes to an end with this feature. I can get behind the whole “daughter of Maleficent” or “son of Cruella de Vil” schtick. But the fact that one actor is playing “Doug, son to Dopey the Dwarf” is giving me nightmares. To be clear: According to Disney canon, somebody had sex with Dopey.

“A Black Lady Sketch Show” (HBO 9pm) Robin Thede (“The Rundown with Robin Thede,” “The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore”) heads to HBO for this self-explanatory sketch comedy show.

Saturday 3

Love and Sunshine (Hallmark 7pm) A woman recovering from a broken engagement (Hallmark staple Danica McKellar) fosters a retired military dog (named Sunshine). But “sparks fly” when the dog’s former military partner (Mark Deklin from “Designated Survivor”) returns to claim the pooch. The only way I can think this situation might work out is if the two humans fell in love. But that seems awfully far-fetched.

Sunday 4

“Flip It Like Disick” (E! 7pm) Kourtney Kardashian baby daddy Scott Disick gets his own reality show, flipping houses for his “celebrity friends.” … Yeah, there’s nothing about that sentence I like.

Monday 5

Enter the Anime (Netflix streaming anytime) This new documentary looks at the history and creation of the medium of Japanese-style animation known as “anime.”

Tuesday 6

“Undercover Billionaire” (Discovery 8:01pm) Billionaire Glenn Stearns is ditching his name, his business, his contacts and his private jet and attempting to create a million-dollar business in just 90 days—and with a mere $100 in his pocket.

“Woodstock: Three Days That Defined a Generation” (KNME-5 8pm) PBS’ “American Experience” takes a trip back to the Summer of Love for this look at one of the defining moments of the American counterculture movement, 1969’s Woodstock Music & Art Fair.

Wednesday 7

“BH90210: The Reunion” (KRQE-DT2 8pm) Instead of starring in an actual “Beverly Hills, 90210” reunion show, Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling star in this sitcom/reality/whatsit show as “heightened versions of themselves,” attempting put together a “Beverly Hills, 90210” reunion show.

“Hypnotize Me” (KWBQ-19 8pm) On this seemingly preposterous gameshow, contestants must work together in teams to complete a series of simple everyday tasks—while hypnotized!
