Thursday 10

“Toy Story at 20: To Infinity and Beyond” (KOAT-7 7pm) Producers, animators, technical artists, designers and voice actors talk about the impact of Pixar’s beloved classic. Followed by a screening of … oh, look, it’s Toy Story.

“Michael Bublé’s Christmas in Hollywood” (KOB-4 7pm) Modern-day crooner Michael Bublé welcomes Celine Dion, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings and Tori Kelly. Also, Kylie Jenner will be there, because that’s the sort of world we live in.

Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors (KOB-4 8pm) Dolly’s 1971 hit becomes a heart-tugging holiday movie about “the healing power of faith and love while struggling to overcome tragedy.”

Friday 11

The Ridiculous Six (Netflix streaming anytime) Adam Sandler’s controversial (but most likely just stupid) Western spoof shows up on Netflix. It was shot in New Mexico. So there’s that.

“Transparent” (Amazon streaming anytime) Amazon finally gives us another season of Jeffrey Tambor’s transgender dramedy.

Roald Dahl’s Esio Trot (Lifetime 4pm) Dahl’s 1990 children’s novel gets a movie version (which originally aired on the BBC). In it retired bachelor Mr. Hoppy (Dustin Hoffman) is hopelessly in love with his downstairs neighbor Mrs. Silver (Dame Judy Dench), but she is only interested in her pet tortoise Alfie.

“The 84th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade” (KWBQ-19 7pm) Erik Estrada, Dean Cain and Montel Williams will be there. Hollywood!

Saturday 12

Becoming Santa (Lifetime 6pm) Yeah, no thanks. We saw Tim Allen do that, and it wasn’t pleasant.

Sunday 13

“Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir” (Nickelodeon 10am) In this Japanese-French-Korean CGI toon, seemingly normal high school students Marinette and Adrien are chosen to save Paris from evil (as superheroes with goofy names).

“Behind the Magic: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” (KOAT-7 7pm) Ginnifer Goodwin (who—coincidentally, I’m sure—plays Snow White in ABC’s “Once Upon a Time”) narrates this “making of” special concerning Disney’s 1934 animated classic.

Wish Upon a Christmas (Lifetime 7pm) A corporate actuary returns to her hometown to cut jobs at a struggling ornament factory owned by her former high-school boyfriend. … Gosh, I can’t possibly imagine where this is going.

“Married by Mom & Dad” (TLC 7:30pm) No. Just no.

Monday 14

Childhood’s End (Syfy 6pm) Syfy tackles Arthur C. Clarke’s 1953 genre classic about “peaceful” alien invaders as a three-night miniseries.

“Adele Live in New York City” (KOB-4 9pm) The Grammy-winning record-breaker performs at New York’s Radio City Music Hall.

Tuesday 15

“Hello, I Must Be Going: 25 Years of Nick News With Linda Ellerbee” (Nickelodeon 6pm) After trying to teach the kids some useful information for 25 years, Linda Ellerbee finally hangs it up.

Wednesday 16

“Survivor: Reunion Special” (KRQE-13 9pm) … Oh, the reality show. Not the band. Nevermind.

“Nashville: On the Road” (KOAT-7 9pm) ABC’s country music melodrama finally gives up on the narrative premise and just has its stars sing songs for an hour.
