Thursday 2 “Futurama” (Comedy Central 11 p.m.) Matt Groening’s newly returned sci-fi toon closes out it sixth season with its 100 th episode (nice timing). It seems the mutants are revolting, and the members of Devo are getting animated as the special guest stars. It’s a beautiful world, indeed. Friday 3 Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (Disney 9 p.m.) Limber up your scream pipes, tweens, and organize a slumber party or something, because the stars of Camp Rock are back! Demi Lovato! The Jonas Brothers! Some guy named Matthew who calls himself Mdot! Saturday 4 “Sole Survivor” (Discovery 7 p.m.) Discovery is really going whole hog with this survivor thing (“Beyond Survival,” “Dual Survival,” “Man, Woman, Wild,” “The Colony,” “Man vs. Wild,” “Worst Case Scenario”). Of course, if you ever need to learn how to drink your own urine, Discovery has got you covered. Sunday 5 “All American Handyman” (HGTV 7 p.m.) Who will be America’s next great handyman? Whose name and phone number will be splashed across cardboard signs taped to telephone poles throughout the metro area? Does he do swamp cooler maintenance? Gosh, I’m dripping with anticipation for this new reality show competition. “Mel B: It’s a Scary World” (Style 7 p.m.) Scary Spice gets a reality show on Style Channel? Huh. Guess they couldn’t afford Posh Spice. “Freaky Eaters” (TLC 7 p.m.) Addicted to cheeseburgers, are you? … Eh, not freaky enough in my book. Monday 6 “Nickelodeon Mega Music Fest 2010” (Nickelodeon 6 p.m.) Between this and Camp Rock 2 , I’m thinking TV is trying to make it up to kids for having to go back to school. Yeah, your summer’s over—but look! Justin Bieber is singing with Dora the Explorer! “Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations” (Travel Channel 7 p.m.) Like “Futurama,” “No Reservations” is also celebrating its 100 th ep. No cameo by Devo, but we do get to go to Paris. “MAD” (Cartoon Network 9:30 p.m.) Not to be confused with FOX’s now-canceled “MADtv” (which never had much to do with the magazine that inspired it), this spin-off features nothing but Flash-animated cartoons. Some are directly inspired by the magazine (Spy vs. Spy, some Don Martin gags, the occasional movie spoof), others are originals. It’s hit-and-miss, of course. A number of the toons are juvenile, stupid and junky-looking. But a lot of them are juvenile, funny and good-looking. “Thintervention With Jackie Warner” (Bravo 8 p.m.) I don’t know about you, but I just can’t get enough of watching fat people lose weight on TV. Tuesday 7 “360 Sessions” (IFC 7 p.m.) IFC’s new music-driven series starts off with singer-songwriter David Gray. Wednesday 8 “Hellcats” (KWBQ-19 8 p.m.) Ever wish “Glee” was more about bitchy cheerleaders and less about nerd singers? Wish granted. “Terriers” (FX 11 p.m.) Between “Hellcats” and “Terriers,” it’s starting to sound like Animal Planet around here. This new comedy-drama stars Donal Logue ( The Tao of Steve ) and Michael Raymond-James (formerly of “True Blood”) as low-rent unlicensed detectives in Southern California.
