Thursday 15 “Saturday Night Live in the 2000s: Time and Again” (KOB-4 8 p.m.) Sure, generally speaking, it’s been a disappointing decade. … But you get to see “Dick in a Box” again! “Supernatural” (KWBQ-19 8 p.m.) Ghost- (and other stuff-)busting bros Dean and Sam enter their 100 th episode stuck between a rock and a hard place (or Satan and the Archangel Michael, as the case may be). Friday 16 “Green Day Rocks Broadway” (MTV 8 p.m.) Nothing cements your punk rock cred like a show on Broadway. “The What Not to Wear Awards” (TLC 7 p.m.) Sounds better than “Another What Not to Wear Clip Show.” Secrets of the Mountain (KOB-4 7 p.m.) Barry Bostwick, Paige Turco and three kids go all Indiana Jones and Family in this made-for-TV adventure pic about a search for ancient treasure. Saturday 17 “The Whale That Exploded” (National Geographic 7 p.m.) Worst fairy tale ever. “Doctor Who” (BBC America 7 p.m.) David Tennant steps out of The Doctor’s shoes, and this new kid Matt Smith takes over. So far, all signs point to “good.” But we’ll know more about his big-chinned newbie after tonight’s long-awaited season premiere. Sunday 18 Riverworld (SyFy 7 p.m.) SyFy adapts Philip José Farmer’s much-beloved fantasy novel franchise into a two-part mini-series starring some the requisite random sci-fi actors (Tahmoh Penikett from “Battlestar Galactica,” Laura Vandervoort from “V”). Hope it’s better than the 2003 attempt. Beauty & The Briefcase (ABC Family 6 p.m.) Hilary Duff stars in this cheesemont made-for-TV movie about a fashion journalist who lands a corporate job for an undercover article about dating co-workers. Gee, I wonder if she actually falls in love with one of her co-workers, then gets exposed as a fraud, then hooks up again with him in the last five minutes? Monday 19 “Donald J. Trump’s Fabulous World of Golf” (Golf Channel 7 p.m.) Tonight, George Lopez plays a round with Oscar De La Hoya. And why aren’t we watching “Emeril Lagasse’s Fabulous World of Celebrities Eating” as well? Or “José Eber’s Fabulous World of Famous Haircuts”? … Honestly, TV, I can spit out this stuff all day. “Top Gear” (BBC America 6 p.m.) In this special, 100-minute ep, the boys brave drug lords, flash floods and perilous heights to race through the Bolivian rainforest. Tuesday 20 “Glee” (KASA-2 8 p.m.) “Glee” finally returns for another season with an all-Madonna episode. Wednesday 21 “American Idol: Idol Gives Back” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) Sounds better than “American Idol: Producers Stretch Another Episode out of the Series.” Food, Inc. (KNME-5 8 p.m.) Authors Eric Schlosser and Michael Pollan offer their insight into today’s world of corporate farming in this entertaining, attention-grabbing 2009 documentary about American eating.
