Thursday 3

65_RedRoses (OWN 7 p.m.) Oprah’s largely Oprah-free network premieres this emotional documentary about a young Canadian woman, suffering from cystic fibrosis, who blogged about her experience while waiting for a double lung transplant.

Friday 4

“Goldfathers” (NGC 8 p.m.) What, “Gold Rush: Alaska” and “Bering Sea Gold” ain’t doin’ it for ya? Fine. Here’s some more gold-mining TV.

“In Plain Sight” (USA 8 p.m.) The shot-in-Albuquerque cop show comes to an end after five successful seasons, airing its one-hour series finale tonight. Thanks for coming, Hollywood, tell all your friends!

Saturday 5

Treasure Island (Syfy 7 p.m.) There isn’t a lot of what you’d call “science fiction” in Robert Lewis Stevenson’s Treasure Island . But Donald Sutherland, Elijah Wood and Eddie Izzard are in it, so I guess I’ll watch.

“The 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony” (HBO 7 p.m.) The Beastie Boys, Donovan and Guns N’ Roses are among the inductees. Is it to much to hope for a supergroup mashup? … It is? Darn.

Sunday 6

“Between Two Ferns” (Comedy Central 9:30 p.m.) Zach Galifianakis’ hilariously awkward parody of TV talk shows makes the jump from FunnyOrDie.com to prime time with a new, half-hour special. Tina Fey, John Stewart and Sir Richard Branson tag along.

“The Comedy Awards” (Comedy Central 10 p.m.) A tradition since 2011.

“Sherlock: Scandal in Belgravia” (KNME-5 9 p.m.) Steven Moffat (former show-runner of the magnificently revived “Doctor Who”) comes back with Season 2 of his addictive modern update of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s consulting detective.

“Mrs. Eastwood & Company” (E! 11:30 p.m.) Clint Eastwood’s wife gets a reality show? Does Clint know about this?

Monday 7

“Tanisha Gets Married” (Oxygen 12 a.m.) Who the hell is Tanisha and why should you care if she’s getting married? … Well, she was one of the bad girls on Oxygen’s “Bad Girls Club” and you really, really shouldn’t.

Tuesday 8

“The Devil’s Ride” (Discovery 8 p.m.) From the makers of “American Chopper” and “Biker Build Off” comes … more motorcycle stuff. This series promises a wild, inside look at Southern California motorcycle gang (“motorcycle club,” sorry) the Laffing Devils.

“United Stats of America” (History 8 p.m.) Twin comics Randy and Jason Sklar take us on an educational journey through the fascinating world of statistics. Example: Over the course of his lifetime, the average American male will spend two months shaving. Yay, statistics!

Wednesday 9

“Around the World in 80 Plates” (Bravo 8 p.m.) In Bravo’s new culinary competition, contestants travel the globe taking on various “food challenges.”

“White Heat” (BBC America 8 p.m.) This imported drama charts the interconnected lives of seven friends from 1965 to the present day. Along the way, it touches down on such defining historical moments as the death of Churchill, the union strife of the ’70s, Margaret Thatcher’s rise to power and the Falklands War. Funny, I don’t really remember those.
