Thursday 10

“FNA USA” (CMT 11pm) Country Music Television “celebrates the most kick-ass country on the planet with the ultimate all-American countdown.” Sounds great, but this is just another viral video show. “FNA,” by the way, stands for “Fuckin’ Awesome.” Oh, CMT, you sure know your demographic.

“The Challenge” (MTV 11pm) “Road Rules” went off the air seven years ago, but that hasn’t stopped “Real World/Road Rules Challenge.” They just shortened the name, and the show is now entering its 25th season of pitting MTV reality show stars against one another. Sadly it’s still not to the death.

Friday 11

“Boss Hog” (Discovery 8pm) Another reality show about people who shoot wild hogs? I’m guessing fans of “American Hoggers” and “Lady Hoggers” will be in, you know, Hog Heaven. … Unless of course “Hog Heaven” is the name of yet another hog-killing show.

Saturday 12

“Orphan Black: The Cloneversation” (BBC America 6pm) Wil Wheaton hosts a behind-the-scenes chat with stars Tatiana Maslany, Tatiana Maslany, Tatiana Maslany, Jordan Gavaris, Dylan Bruce and Evelyne Brochu.

Bermuda Tentacles (Syfy 7pm) Air Force One goes down in the Bermuda Triangle, and it’s up to the US Navy to rescue the President from an angry sea monster. Linda Hamilton (The Terminator) and Jamie Kennedy (Malibu’s Most Wanted) star.

Sunday 13

“Marvel’s Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.” (Disney XD 6am) The cyborg assassin Deathlok has been a running character on this season of ABC’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” So it’s nice to see him drop by for an animated cameo on this green-skinned ’toon.

“Years of Living Dangerously” (Showtime 8pm) This nonfiction series focuses on the American and international impact of, and solutions to, climate change.

“2014 MTV Movie Awards” (MTV 10pm) For the first time ever, Conan O’Brien hosts MTV’s celebration of on-screen kissing, fighting and shirtlessness.

Monday 14

“Clarence” (Cartoon Network 8pm) Following in the footsteps of creator Rebecca Sugar and “Steven Universe,” comes another former “Adventure Time” storyboard artist with her own show. This one’s about a dorky but eternally optimistic young boy.

“Bam’s Bad Ass Game Show” (TBS 8:30pm) Hopefully it’s more badass than Steve-O’s “Killer Karaoke.”

“Metal Hurlant Chronicles” (Syfy 10pm) Longtime sci-fi comic readers will recognize “Metal Hurlant” as the original French name of “Heavy Metal.” This English-language, Franco-Belgian anthology series features the likes of Scott Adkins, Michael Jai White, James Marsters, Michelle Ryan, David Belle, Kelly Brook and Rutger Hauer.

Tuesday 15

“SI: The Making of Swimsuit 2014—From Sand to Space” (Travel 7pm) A bikini-clad Kate Upton in zero gravity? Fine, I’ll be there.

“Fargo” (FX 11pm) The Coen brothers’ blackly comic crime film turns into an anthology series. Same town, different characters. Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman, Colin Hanks, Bob Odenkirk, Kate Walsh, Adam Goldberg, Oliver Platt and Key & Peele are among the impressive cast. Yah sure, ya betcha!

Wednesday 16

“Unusually Thicke” (TV Guide 8pm) Former “Growing Pains” star Alan Thicke and his wife get their own reality show. Apparently Robin Thicke will make a guest appearance, if that sweetens the pot for you.
