Thursday 14 “The Paul Reiser Show” (KOB-4 7:30 p.m.) I’m not sure Mr. Reiser has the cachet—a dozen years after the end of “Mad About You”—to helm a network sitcom. But kudos to NBC for going with the self-referential, postmodern premise of casting an actor as himself that cable has been doing for ages (“Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Fat Actress,” “Episodes”). Friday 15 Lemonade Mouth (Disney 9 p.m.) Some high schoolers meet in detention and form a rock band—which sounds like a better overall premise than The Breakfast Club . The film was shot here in Albuquerque, which could make things interesting. Saturday 16 Truth Be Told (KASA-2 7 p.m.) To impress a potential employer, a marriage counselor asks an old friend to pose as her husband. It’s all the wackiness of Adam Sandler’s Just Go With It with 1/48 the star power (sorry, Candace Cameron Bure and David James Elliott). Sunday 17 “Mob Wives” (VH1 6 p.m.) Oh, look. VH1 dug up some more annoying, overprivileged, scream-prone housewives to make a reality show about. “Audrina” (VH1 7 p.m.) And, true to form, the network also found room for another reality show staring a person famous for being a reality show star. Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe (USA 7 p.m.) A two-hour prequel movie starring Bruce Campbell as everybody’s favorite Tommy Bahama-wearing mercenary? Sign me the hell up! “Game of Thrones” (HBO 7 p.m.) George R.R. Martin’s epic fantasy series “A Song of Ice and Fire” gets adapted in HBO’s newest big-budget Sunday night show. With luck, it will be enough to distract fans from bitching about how they haven’t seen a new book out of Martin in six years. “Freedom to Believe … Or Not” (Nickelodeon 7 p.m.) Linda Ellerbee hosts this Nick News special about religion, atheism, the Constitution and their connection to American schools. “2011 TV Land Awards” (TV Land 7 p.m.) Regis Philbin gets honored, the cast of “The Cosby Show” reunites, Hall & Oates sings something. “Inspector America” (History 8 p.m.) An infrastructure safety inspector checks out bridges, roadways and other historic constructions to see how they’re holding up in History’s newest docu-reality show. Monday 18 William & Kate (Lifetime 7 p.m.) Lifetime knocks off a quick made-for-TV movie about the love affair between Prince William and his bride-to-be. “William & Catherine: A Modern Fairy Tale” (KOAT-7 9 p.m.) Not to be outdone, “20/20” cranks out a special episode covering the exact same territory. … Trust me, it’s much worse over in England. Tuesday 19 “Dresscue Me” (Planet Green 8:30 p.m.) I have no idea what’s so green about this “What Not to Wear” knockoff, but at least it’s got a terrible pun in the title. Wednesday 20 “Jesus: The Lost 40 Days” (History 7 p.m.) The Bible doesn’t give a lot of detail. What exactly was Jesus doing for the 40 days he kicked around planet Earth after coming back from the dead, but before ascending to heaven? Freaking the hell out of friends and loved ones, I’m guessing.
