Thursday 13

Rock ’N’ Roll Exposed: The Photography of Bob Gruen (Showtime 5 p.m.) Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Elvis, Madonna, Bob Dylan, John Lennon, Johnny Rotten, The Ramones: Bob Gruen has shot pictures of them all. Now he gets in front of the camera for famed DJ/filmmaker Don Letts’ rockin’ documentary.

Friday 14

“Pregnant & Dating” (WE 8 p.m.) Conversation starter No. 1: “So how many months has it been since your last boyfriend?”

Saturday 15

“Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures” (Disney XD 9:30 a.m.) No, you are not having a severe ’80s flashback. Somebody has actually created a new, computer-animated Pac-Man cartoon and programmed it on Saturday mornings. Better call your agent, Donkey Kong.

“Zero Hour” (KOAT-7 7 p.m.) The Anthony Edwards-starring global conspiracy drama that took all of three episodes to get completely preposterous—and totally canceled—is back for a summer burn-off. Watch it while you can. Seriously. Any TV show that manages to tie Nazis, the Messiah, Albert Einstein, clones and fine watches into one nutty package is worth watching drunk.

“AFI Lifetime Achievement Award: A Tribute to Mel Brooks” (TNT 7 p.m.) Martin Scorsese hands the 41st American Film Institute Lifetime Achievement Award to funnyman Mel Brooks.

Sunday 16

“2013 Miss USA Competition” (KOB-4 8 p.m.) So apparently it’s now a “competition,” not a “pageant.” Also, Nick Jonas is hosting. So 20-year-olds who have yet to throw out their soundtrack to Camp Rock will be overjoyed.

“True Blood” (HBO 7 p.m.) The sixth season of HBO’s vampire-fairy-werewolf gang bang gets underway. We can all reasonably assume after yet another season in which Bill (Stephen Moyer) went insane and tried to slaughter the entire population of Earth, that he’s back to being the good guy and lusting after Sooki (Anna Paquin).

Monday 17

“Honey Do” (TLC 8 p.m.) A “dream team” of hunky handy men comes to the aid of wives whose husbands are too lazy and/or stupid to do stuff around the house in TLC’s newest reality show.

Tuesday 18

“Blood & Oil” (Discovery 8 p.m.) Discovery Channel has yet to meet a dirty, blue-collar job it does not like. Here the network adds to the “Black Gold”/“Backyard Oil” subgenre.

Wednesday 19

“The Soup Investigates” (E! 11:30 p.m.) Joel McHale and a group of comedic reporters do their best to mash-up “The Daily Show” and “Entertainment Tonight.”

“Futurama” (Comedy Central 8 p.m.) The final episodes of the revived sci-fi cartoon are on the launching pad. Check out the series “7B” premiere tonight with Professor Farnsworth joining a futuristic street racing gang straight out of Fast & Furious.
