Thursday 13

“E! True Hollywood Story: Life After Reality” (E! 9pm) Well, this is the perfect listing to start off with this week. What did happen to flash-in-the-pan reality show stars like Tiffany Pollard (“Flavor of Love”), Jason Wahler (“Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County”), Eden Wood (“Toddlers & Tiaras”) and Jonny Fairplay (“Survivor”) after they went off the air?

Friday 14

“The Hollywood Film Awards” (KRQE-13 7pm) Queen Latifah hosts the first award show of the pre-award show season. The winners are chosen by a “top secret” committee of 12 industry insiders. These awards have been handed out for the last 17 years, but this is the first time they’re on TV.

Saturday 15

Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B (Lifetime 6pm) Alexandra Shipp (“House of Anubis”) stars as the once-popular singer who went from “Star Search” to selling 52 million records to dying in a plane crash.

Northpole (Hallmark 6pm) Real-life married couple Robert Wagner and Jill St. John play Santa and Mrs. Claus. I know what you’re thinking: “Cool, but this is a Hallmark movie. Who plays the harried single mom who falls in love with her son’s sensitive but hunky teacher over the holidays?” Oh, that would be Tiffani Thiessen.

“Outrageous Thanksgiving” (Food 7pm) Buffalo-style turkey, habañero cornbread and something called “cranberry bogs” are among the craziest food creations Food Network could dig up.

“The Missing” (Starz 7pm) A 5-year-old boy disappears while on vacation in France. Eight years later, some new evidence causes a retired detective and a grieving father to reinvestigate the case. This 8-part mystery series debuted on BBC last month.

Sunday 16

“The Simpsons” (KASA-2 7pm) A new teacher (voiced by scary Willem Dafoe) is determined to crush Bart’s spirit.

Monday 17

Banksy Does New York (HBO 7pm) Controversial British street artist Banksy takes his spray-paint cans to New York for a change. Don’t expect a lot of one-on-one interviews in this documentary.

“State of Affairs” (KOB-4 9pm) Katherine Heigl stars in the white girl version of “Scandal.”

Tuesday 18

“Saving Africa’s Giants with Yao Ming” (Animal Planet 8pm) Former NBA star Yao Ming embarks on a mission to end the Chinese import of elephant ivory and rhino horn from Africa. Yao Ming is, of course, one of China’s giants.

Wednesday 19

Country Buck$” (A&E 8:03pm) World’s Laziest TV Producer: “Um, how about ‘Duck Dynasty,’ but with redneck deer hunters instead of redneck duck hunters?” World’s Laziest Network Executive: “Fine. Whatever. I’m going to lunch.”
