Thursday 19 “The Office” (KOB-4 8 p.m.) Ricky Gervais, Will Arnett, Catherine Tate, James Spader, Jim Carrey and Warren Buffett are among the guest stars vying for Steve Carrell’s vacated position on tonight’s one-hour season finale. Friday 20 “Bed Bug Apocalypse” (Animal Planet 8 p.m.) Once again, Animal Planet, you’ve nailed a scenario 10 times more frightening that anything Syfy Channel has managed to dredge up. “Storytellers: Cee Lo Green” (VH1 9 p.m.) Please, enlighten us, Cee Lo. What story were you trying to tell in your runaway hit song “Fuck You”? Saturday 21 Sinbad and the Minotaur (Syfy 7 p.m.) Sure, Sinbad the sailor is Arabic, while the Minotaur comes to us from Greece—two distinctly different mythologies. But who’s counting? At least this sets up the possibility of that awesome Thor vs. Sasquatch movie I’ve been craving. “Running Wilde” (FX 12 a.m.) The Will Arnett / Keri Russell sitcom receives an ignoble burial, jumping from FOX to FX to burn off its final episode. At midnight, even. Ouch. Sunday 22 “Bert the Conqueror” (Travel 6 p.m.) Bert comes to New Mexico to try out various extreme sporting events like shovel racing and indoor surfing. … We do those things? Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure (Disney 9 p.m.) Ever wonder what happened to Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale) from the High School Musical movies? … Yeah, me neither. “The Apprentice” (KOB-4 8 p.m.) So, Donald Trump was gonna use the finale of his reality show competition to finally announce whether he’s running for president or not. Except he crapped out early, leaving us with just a crummy season finale. … Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, Trump. Jesse Stone: Innocents Lost (KRQE-13 8 p.m.) Apparently Tom Selleck isn’t too busy doing cop stuff over on “Blue Bloods” to moonlight as small-town police chief Jesse Stone in another one of these popular CBS murder mysteries. “Tornado Rampage 2011” (Discovery 8 p.m.) Hey, people died, towns were wiped off the map—but at least we got some wicked cell-phone footage. Monday 23 Too Big To Fail (HBO 7 p.m.) William Hurt, Ed Asner, Billy Crudup, Paul Giamatti and Topher Grace star in this dramatization of the great American financial collapse of 2008. “Clash of the Commercials: USA vs. The World” (KRQE-13 9 p.m.) USA! USA! USA! … Wait. What are we rooting for? Tuesday 24 “Soul Quest Overdrive” (Cartoon Network 2 a.m.) H. Jon Benjamin, Kristen Schaal and David Cross voice a bowling pin, a basketball and a baseball glove in this kinda, sorta spin-off of “Aqua Teen Hunger Force.” Wednesday 25 “American Idol” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) The winner is announced in a 127-minute season finale. Two hours and seven minutes ? What, they couldn’t cut seven minutes’ worth of the camera swirling around the stage while Ryan waits dramatically to say who won?
