Thursday 4

“No Heroics” (The 101 Network 7 p.m.) This BBC import is a sitcom focused on the lives, loves and aspirations of four B-list superheroes. It’s available exclusively on DirecTV’s 101 Network. Meaning you probably can’t watch it. Too bad for you.

“Oddities” (Discovery 7:30 p.m.) Discovery’s new docureality show concentrates on a Los Angeles boutique that sells unusual items. Think “Pawn Stars,” but with high-priced cat mummies.

Friday 5

“Snakes That Fly” (National Geographic 7 p.m.) Once again, reality and the National Geographic Channel have beat Syfy Channel Original Movies to the punch.

“Cops & Coyotes” (ID 7 p.m.) Join Arizona’s elite border patrol as they valiantly fight to keep America safe from the tired, the poor and the huddled masses yearning to breathe free.

“The Benson Interruption” (Comedy Central 1 a.m.) Comedian Doug Benson ( High Times magazine’s “Stoner of the Year 2006”) invites friends on his show to perform some stand-up—then interrupts them whenever he feels like it.

Saturday 6

A Family Thanksgiving (Hallmark 7 p.m.) An ambitious lawyer (Daphne Zuniga) awakes in an alternate reality where she is a wife and mother of two. Question: Why are alternate realities always trying to teach us the value of finding time to stop and smell the roses?

Sunday 7

“The Simpsons” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) Halloween was last week, but here’s “Treehouse of Horrors XXI” anyway. Oh well. It’s never too late for a Twilight parody.

“Shake It Up” (Disney 9:30 p.m.) Disney adds a new tween sitcom. Whew. I’m just glad it’s not a reality show starring Ric Ocasek.

“Kate Plus 8: Alaska, Here We Come” (TLC 7 p.m.) Kate Gosselin goes to Alaska to meet up with Sarah Palin. … Wow. Two of my favorite women in one show!

“MTV Europe Music Awards 2010” (MTV2 7 p.m.) It’s pretty much like the regular MTV Music Awards—except the guys are wearing way tighter clothes.

Monday 8

“Matt Lauer Reports” (KOB-4 7 p.m.) Matt Lauer scores a prime-time interview with former President George W. Bush. Two years too late, Matt.

“Conan” (TBS 9 p.m.) Yes. As in O’Brien. Finally. Seth Rogen and Jack White are the first guests.

Tuesday 9

“Auction Hunters” (Spike 8 p.m.) Seriously? Another one? After TLC’s “Auctioneer$”? After Discovery’s “Auction Kings”? After Syfy’s “Hollywood Treasure”? … Hey, History Channel. I’ve got a brilliant docureality show idea for you. It’s called “Auction Treasures.”

Wednesday 10

“44 th Annual CMA Awards” (KOAT-7 7 p.m.) Of note this year because Gwyneth Paltrow is apparently now a county singer.
