Thursday 28

“You, Me and the Apocalypse” (KOB-4 7pm) In this “adrenaline-fueled” comedy-drama, a diverse group of people—including a priest (Rob Lowe), a librarian-turned-convict (Jenna Fischer) and a white supremacist (Megan Mullally)—try to navigate the chaotic last days of humanity, courtesy of a rogue comet.

Friday 29

“Last Man Standing” (KOAT-7 7pm) While we weren’t looking, Tim Allen managed to bang out 100 episodes of this sitcom in which he plays … nope, I have no idea.

Saturday 30

Lila & Eve (Lifetime 6pm) Viola Davis and Jennifer Lopez team up as couple of grief-stricken mothers who join forces to dish out some vigilante justice.

“The 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards” (TBS/TNT 6pm) Hey, there’s a handful of black people in this list—like Idris Elba for Beasts of No Nation and … Idris Elba for “Luther.”

“Zombie House Flipping” (FYI 8pm) Sadly (and rather stupidly) there are no zombies involved in this real estate reality show.

“#killerpost” (Oxygen 10pm) If you’ve read this column for any amount of time, you know how much I hate TV shows with a hashtag in the title. Here’s another one of these stupid things. This one’s a docu-series showing “extreme examples of the negative outcomes that can result from social media usage.”

Sunday 31

Grease: Live (KASA-2 7pm) FOX follows ABC’s lead of airing live classic musicals. They’ve “youthed” this one up a bit, though, by including such millennial luminaries as “Dancing With the Stars” hoofer Julianne Hough, Broadway heartthrob Aaron Tviet, High School Musical actress Vanessa Hudgens, “Call Me Maybe” singer Carly Rae Jepsen and English hip-hop pop star Jessie J.

“American Ninja Warrior: USA vs. The World” (KOB-4 7pm) Teams from America, Europe and Japan compete against one another on the world’s most difficult obstacle course.

“The Venture Bros.” (Cartoon Network 1am) CN’s darkly hilarious superhero parody returns for a sixth season.

Monday 1

“ET at the Big Game on Pop” (POP 7pm) Sadly, it’s the crew from “Entertainment Tonight” and not E.T. the Extraterrestrial hanging out in San Francisco, chucking footballs, jokingly interviewing players and waiting for the Super Bowl to actually happen.

Tuesday 2

“Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials 2016” (KRQE-13 7pm) Boomer Esiason and Katharine McPhee host a countdown of the best of 50 years of Super Bowl commercials. Also, this show functions as an effective ticker, counting down the 60 less minutes you have to live in your miserably short life.

“The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” (FX 11pm) This 10-episode “limited series” dramatizes events surrounding the original “Trial of the Century.” Cuba Gooding Jr., John Travolta, Nathan Lane, Selma Blair, Connie Britton, Sarah Paulson, David Schwimmer and Courtney B. Vance are among the stop-and-state cast.

Wednesday 3

Madoff (KOAT-7 7pm) Richard Dreyfuss stars as disgraced stockbroker/Ponzi schemer Bernie Madoff in this made-for-TV miniseries.

“Big Fish Texas” (National Geographic 7pm) Because there is literally no limit to the number of fishing shows that can be aired on TV at one time.
