Fish and Coffee?

Find out why Cutbow Coffee Roastology (1208 Rio Grande NW)—a new coffee shop opening its doors by September—is being named after a fish in this interview with owner Paul Gallegos.

Driven to Give

A group of Uber drivers calling themselves “Random Acts of Rideshare” collected donations of water, food, and other supplies this weekend and carried them in a trailer donated by U-Haul up to the Jemez to be distributed to evacuees of the Cajete Fire. Nice Job!

The Hunt Begins

The food truck app, Tasty Spot—which was developed right here in ABQ—is available for download. Diners can see vendors on a map with their menu items, pictures, pricing and options to order ahead. Just don't mix it up with “TastySpots.” That's a different one.

Spreading Out

Cielito Lindo Mexican Restaurant (416 San Pedro SE) is opening two new locations in ABQ. The first is planned to be at 616 Lomas NW, and the second will be at Central and 52nd NW. The owner refrained from announcing an opening date yet. He also said to expect a Rio Rancho location in the future.

Making Room

La Salita—which was previously located at 1217 Eubank NE—is moving to 1950 Juan Tabo NE. Why? Because there's never enough parking spaces! The move will increase the parking lot size by over 3,000 square feet—doubling their parking spots.

That's a Lot of Fish

Poki Poki Cevicheria is opening a third location this week. This one will be in the South Valley where the Sushi King used to be at 3715 Las Estancias SW. They're still working on the Heights location, at 3517 Wyoming NE, which is expected to open in July.
