Food News Pizza 9 Starts Flame War

The Pizza 9 on Eubank and Montgomery deleted its Facebook page after an employee flipped out on a customer who left a bad review. Luckily, KOB-4 nabbed a screenshot. The comment: “They don’t take coupons and last time, they ran out of cheese!” The response: “Adam, sorry we do not accept Food Stamps (sic) or EBT.” According to the customer, he then received a series of insulting private messages before being blocked. Pizza 9 has publicly apologized and is currently investigating the owner of the location in question.

This year’s menu features guinea hog raised by local farmers, Jennifer and Josh at Hanako Farms. Proceeds go to support SC, Inc.—a N.M. nonprofit committed to sustainable communities for senior care.
