New Mexico Pets Alive is currently raising funds and supplies to expand their canine café (which is a venue for folks to play with and adopt shelter dogs) to a larger location. This new location will serve coffee drinks and prepared food and drinks, so you can sip on something while you cuddle some puppers. Weekly Specials: New La Cumbre Taproom New La Cumbre Taproom

Beloved local craft brewery La Cumbre is planning on opening a new location on the Westside. The new taproom will live in a 2,400-square-foot space on the southeast corner of Coors Boulevard and Montaño Road. In a blog post on their website, La Cumbre said the space “will include an eastern facing 900 sf (give or take, plans are not complete as of yet) patio space with views of the Sandias. We have hired an architect, submitted our license applications, interviewed general contractors … The ball is rolling.” Sounds pretty sweet to me. We’ll be sure to let you know when an opening date is set in stone.
