Arroyo Vino Wine Tasting

Arroyo Vino

Do you like drinking wine? Cool, that’s the only thing you need to know to enjoy a wine tasting. At the Arroyo Vino Restaurant and Wine Shop (218 Camino la Tierra, Santa Fe) this Saturday, Dec. 16 from 1 to 3pm you can sample from over 50 different wines they’ll have available for tasting. The knowledgeable staff will be on hand to answer your questions and help you find the perfect wine (or two, or three) for your holiday party. Tickets are $25, and can be purchased at arroyovino.com. Must be 21 or older to attend.

Santa Fe Spirits Open House

If you want to keep the good, boozy time going while you’re up in the City Different, look no further than Santa Fe Spirits (7505 Mallard Way, Santa Fe). The distillery and bar has a free open house event this Saturday, Dec. 16 from 4 to 7pm where you can enjoy their specialty cocktails, listen to live jazz music, shop local vendors’ wares and pick up some bottles for the boozehounds on your holiday gift list. There are distillery tours and door prizes for those interested. Must be 21 or older to attend.

Humble Holiday Market

Back by popular demand, it’s everybody’s favorite annual holiday craft market! Humble Coffee (4200 Lomas Blvd. Ste C) is once again hosting their annual holiday market this Sunday Dec. 17 from 10am to 4pm, where more than 40 artists, vendors and food trucks will gather to help you find the perfect gift for that special somebody (even if that special somebody is you). Get caffeinated, get a tasty snack, then get locally-made goodies for all your friends and family.

Afternoon Tea

The Fragrant Leaf (3207 Silver Ave. SE) holds regular Sunday afternoon tea services, and this one happens to be “Nordic Lights” themed. Not sure what that means? Well, that means you can expect some Scandinavian treats along with your curated hot teas. Think shrimp toast and lingonberry preserves. The tea service at 1pm is sold out, but you can still reserve a spot at the 4pm service. Tea is $35 per person, and reservations are required. Call 255-0522 to make your reservations.

Swiss Alps Side Business

Nob Hill is getting a new café in the spring. Jessica Espat, owner of the Swiss Alps Bakery, is opening a new Three Little Birds Cafe & Co. location at 114 Tulane Drive SE, right by Tractor Brewing. The cafe will serve coffee and pastries, along with soups and sandwiches made with fresh bread from the bakery.
