I haven’t had the pleasure of visiting Albuquerque City Limits Restaurant (3211 Coors SW, Ste F4) yet, but good gracious! The natillas looks damn good! (And the Spanish custard supposedly has healing properties. I bet it would heal my sweet tooth.)
Tropical Smoothie Café (9935 Coors Bypass NW, Ste D) plans to open a second ABQ location this spring at 6400 Holly NE and in three more spots over the next few years.
An ABQ man just got two years of probation and an order to pay nearly $4,700 in restitution after he got caught defrauding the federal food stamp program. Apparently, he admitted to taking SNAP benefits, even though he knew he wasn’t eligible. (Need I remind you that we have some of the worst child poverty rates in the nation, and that there are plenty of kids literally going hungry in this state?)
