I come bearing terrible news. Mr. Peanut, of Planters Peanuts fame, has died in a car accident. If it feels like you just read pure insanity, you’d be right. The iconic peanut has been killed in what amounts to the strangest marketing stunt since last year’s IHOb fiasco, dying in a car accident involving the Nutmobile (which ranks as the best/worst nickname for a pimp’s car) whom he was driving with Matt Walsh and Wesley Snipes. How this will affect the company moving forward, we’re unsure, but now everyone’s favorite bourgeois peanut is no more (or is he?!), so hang on to that collectors merch, in case it gains value.

It’s free to attend, but you’ll probably have to order some food to get the full experience.
