And whether or not you buy into the Hallmark hype of Valentine’s Day, you may have a partner who would be a little salty if you don’t plan anything for it. Thankfully, there are quite a few things going down on V-Day that will get you and yours out of the house (and keep you out of the doghouse, too). Not all of these require reservations, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt to make them anyway.

If you or yours has a sweet tooth, Gruet is the perfect place to indulge it this Valentine’s Day. From V-Day until Feb. 17, they’re offering two specially curated Sweetheart Flights at both their Albuquerque and Santa Fe tasting rooms throughout business hours. Each flight involves four Gruet wines and four small desserts to share for $25 per person. Reservations aren’t required—the special lasts as long as the desserts do. For a sweet and low-key Valentine’s dinner, head to Sauce Pizza and Wine with your sweetheart or your best bud to split a pie and some vino. The special is available on Valentine’s Day only and includes one of Sauce’s hand-tossed salads ($9.50 or less), a 12-inch pizza ($11.50 or less) and two glasses of wine ($7 or less). We recommend adding some Van Rixel Bros. gelato or a couple seasonal cannoli at the end to show that you really care.

If you saw our review a couple weeks ago, you know that we’re fans of what Hollow Spirits is dishing out. So of course we’re going to endorse this Valentine’s Day dinner prepared by Hollow Spirits’ Chef Tristin, who manages to make some of the loveliest dishes we’ve seen inside a food truck kitchen. Of course, you’re bound to get some pretty fantastic drinks made from their infused homemade liquors, too. This four-course dinner starts at 7pm, and tickets are $120 per couple.
