Music To Your Ears

Grandma's Music & Sound has been hosting live performances at its new location (9310 Coors NW), and are looking for local bands/solo performers to continue the tradition. Arists such as Michael Chapedelaine, Linda Cotton, Michael Anthony Trio and Frank Leto and Pandemonium have performed in the past. All interested parties are required to submit a CD and press kit. Grandma's is looking for experienced, first-rate performances in the genres of singer-songwriters, blues, bluegrass, DJs and more, but no loud punk, metal or heavy rock. Also, groups must be able to set up easily and quickly—there will be no extensive sound checks—so 20-piece bands need not apply. Sets will be around 45-minutes in length, and performers will be compensated. Call Larry Otis at 292-0341 weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or e-mail info@grandmas.com for details.
