Saturday, Dec. 13; Cell Theatre (all ages, 6 p.m.): Albuquerque has a thriving electronic music scene, whether you're aware of it or not. Not that it's an underground genre exactly, but the musicians playing tonight are inclined to stay locked in their homes creating, writing and developing their personal sound, and striving to come up with the perfect song. When they do finally make an appearance it's at a dark bar where you can't see much and all you can hear is the rhythm of the music.

Thanks to Ohmni and Dark Beat Productions, everyone can celebrate digital music tonight with more than 15 acts on two stages in Downtown Albuquerque. From synthpop to industrial, tribal to experimental noise, all types of electronica will be presented by bands/solo performers such as N2/Effect, Sidanik, Brian Botkiller, Raine Vivian, consumeobeybreed, Terrorstate, Vertigo Shock and others. The first 50 people in the door will receive a special Oscillation 3 compilation CD, which features music by many of the evening's musicians.

Music will begin at 7 p.m. at the Cell Theater (700 Central SW), and cover is $10. For more information on the show and performers and a copy of the recently released Burque Luv 5 compilation CD, e-mail kentifyr@yahoo.com.
