Dandee Fleming is a longtime piece of the Albuquerque rock jigsaw. In addition to co-owning the Blackbird Buvette and scooting around with the Pharaohs Scooter Club, he plays guitar for Lousy Robot, The Porter Draw and probably 50 other bands. Below you will find a lottery of songs from the Dandee library.

1) “Leave This Off Your Fuckin’ Charts” • Public Enemy • Fear of a Black Planet

2) “Two At A Time” • Cop Shoot Cop • Release

“My roommate at the time introduced me to to this band back in the day. It still stands up today, even with its post-grunge vibe.”

3) “Josephine Street“ • I Love Math • Getting to the Point Is Beside It

“I Love Math is made up of some of my close friends, but that’s not why I think this is one of the best songs ever. Look it up and listen for yourself.”

4) “Liquid Swords” • Genius/GZA • Liquid Swords

“The Wu-Tang not only rap about chess, but they can play a mean game as well. I had a chance to play chess against the Genius a couple years ago and he made quick work of me.”

5) “Strictly Game” • Harlem Shakes • Technicolor Health

“This record was on constant repeat for me early this summer. This was one of my favorites on the record—it’s just a great pop song.”
